Srividya Sadhana
Srividya Sadhana is a profound spiritual discipline aimed at discovering purpose and meaning in life, ultimately guiding individuals towards self-realisation.
Srividya is a spiritual tradition deeply rooted in the ancient Vedas, further enriched by the teachings found in the Agama Shastras. This profound wisdom is transmitted from the Adi Guru, Dakshinamurti, through a lineage of Gurus across various traditions. The esoteric practices dedicated to the Divine Mother, Sri Lalitha Tripura Sundari, including her Mantra (Panchadasi), Yantra (Sri Chakra), and Tantra (Srividya Sadhana), are meticulously recorded in various sacred texts, including the esteemed Parashurama Kalpa Sutra. This sutra was authored by Lord Parashurama under the divine guidance of Sri Guru Dattatreya.
Regarded as one of the most profound spiritual practices, Srividya is celebrated for its dual promise of Bhoga (worldly enjoyment) and Moksha (liberation). Sri Lalitha Para Bhattarika assures that those who follow this path will attain both material prosperity and spiritual enlightenment, making it a unique sadhana that enriches worldly life and paves the way for self-realisation.

Dasha Mahavidya Sadhana
Kamakhya is the Cradle of Tantra and origin of Dasha Mahavidya.
Kamakhya Temple is situated atop the Nilachal Hills in Guwahati, Assam, where the Divine Mother manifests herself in ten distinct forms, including Kali, Tara, Shodasi, Bhuvaneshwari, Bhairavi, Chinnamasta, Dhoomavathi, Bhagalamukhi, Matangi, and Kamalatmika. Within the main Kamakhya Temple Garbhagriha, the Mother is primarily worshipped as Shodasi (also known as Kameswari or Raja Rajeshwari), accompanied by Matangi (Raja Shyamala) and Kamalatmika by her side. The traditions of Dasha Mahavidya are carefully preserved within select practitioner families across generations, shrouded in secrecy. Numerous aspects of these practices are passed down verbally solely through the guru-disciple lineage.Kundalini Sadhana
In this course, we explore the elusive concept of Kundalini, which, contrary to popular belief, is not mentioned in the traditional Sanskrit texts of Sanatana Dharma. It is rooted in Tantric teachings. To gain a comprehensive understanding of Kundalini, one must immerse oneself in the rich tradition of Tantra, as its essence cannot be fully appreciated in isolation.
The scarcity of authoritative texts on Kundalini, many of which still need to be published (they are in manuscript form only), has resulted in a significant gap in traditional knowledge. This absence of foundational texts has led to many interpretations and conjectures within modern spiritual practices. Consequently, 'Kundalini' is frequently adapted to fit various spiritual contexts and narratives. In contemporary times, the practice known as 'Kundalini Yoga' in numerous yoga studios bears little resemblance to the traditional Kundalini practices. This modern interpretation was introduced to the Western world by New Age Gurus.Srividya Guru

Mastering Sri Vidya is a unique and deeply personal journey. Therefore, the time it takes can vary significantly from one individual to another. However, you can reach to the stage of Panchadashi with in 18 months. It depends on several factors, including the practitioner’s dedication, spiritual capacity, and life circumstances. For some, significant progress might be achieved in a few years, while for others, it might be a lifelong journey of learning and growth. Mastery in Sri Vidya is about the duration, depth of understanding, and spiritual experience.
These are distinct Sadhanas, yet they are interrelated. They share common principles and practices. Your spiritual path can start with any of these Sadhanas. At MahaaVidya, we initiate with Sri Vidya Sadhana and gradually incorporate other practices as necessary, depending on the disciple’s progress.
The programs are adaptable, with each disciple receiving personalised guidance from the Guru tailored to their progress and life circumstances. There is no fixed commitment period. However, with consistent practice one can reach the stage of Panchadasi in 18 months.
It entirely depends on your preference. You can start with as little as 30-45 minutes per day, and then gradually increase the time as you gain more control over your life. Sadhana needs to be practiced daily. While you can dedicate more time on weekends, limiting the practice to weekends alone will not be effective.
Yes, respect for the deity is essential for Sadhana. As you progress in your practice, you will transcend beyond a personified or individual deity.
